Myles Larsen
Myles Larsen, a certified swimming coach affiliated with Swimming Australia and SCTA, boasts an impressive track record of developing swimmers at both State and National levels since 2006. His expertise spans a diverse range of age groups, including juniors aged 7-12, seniors aged 13-20, and Masters swimmers aged 30 and above. In 2008, Myles played a vital role in shaping the swim squad at St Hilda's private school on the Gold Coast of Australia.
Myles brings valuable competitive experience to his coaching, having swum at State, National Age, and Open levels for over 12 years. His journey included participation in the Commonwealth Games Trials in 2006. He trained under internationally acclaimed coaches like Dennis Cotterell (known for coaching two-time Olympic Champion Grant Hackett) and Richard Scarce (credited with the success of World Champion Cameron McEvoy).
Presently, Myles collaborates with David Tomkinson in discovering elite sporting talent and developing them through specific training programs. Impressively, he holds a Top 10 ranking in the Australia Masters M30-34 category for 50m and 100m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly, and 50m Backstroke—a testament to his dedication and expertise in the swimming world.
